The Beginning

Texel sheep have been in Australia since 1993 when the first embryos were imported from the UK. 

 

Ewes from Longford, Bartex and Aveley Texel Studs were purchased to form Summit Park Texels in 2003.

In 2010 the family moved to Hamilton from the Mortlake area.

​

In 2015 a White Suffolk stud was registered to Summit Park to increase the range of sheep produced.
